When you want to ride with our train, reserve at our reservation system, come ca. 30 Min before departure and buy a ticket before departure (fares) at the counter (in Kappeln) or at the conductor in the train. No card payment is possible. For groups from 20 people a reservation is required.
Please note, that to enter the train three steep steps has to be taken. There are toilets in the train, which however due to construction can not be used in station area. Ca. 5 minutes walk from Kappeln station are public toilets. At the station in Süderbrarup are no public toilets available.
In a former Swedish restaurant car are cold and hot beverages available.

Combination with the ship

Combine the ride with the Angelner Dampfeisenbahn with a ship tour on the Schlei: You ride one way with the historical train, between Süderbrarup station and pier in Lindaunis with our bus as well as between Kappeln and Lindaunis by ship. For the whole round tour, is a single ticket available (prices), which you buy at your starting point of the tour.
Instead of the bus transfer you can partially also cycle or hike the ca. 10 kilometer long distance.
